MAIN EVENT — ARMAN “AHALKALAKETS” TSARUKYAN vs. MUHAMMAD “THE PUNISHER” MOKAEV | Submission Only (10 min.)
One of the most compelling matchups in recent combat sports memory, UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan returns to the Hype FC mats to face arguably the best Flyweight MMA fighter in the world Muhammad Mokaev in a highly anticipated submission-only main event. Mokaev, the former UFC Flyweight contender from Great Britain who stands undefeated in MMA at 39-0 (15-0 as a pro including 7-0 in the UFC), steps up in weight to take on one of the most active and dynamic grapplers in combat sports today. Tsarukyan, ranked among the very top of the UFC lightweight division, has proven himself one of the most dynamic and active competitors in all of combat sports. This fantasy world class matchup in Rio can only become reality on a HYPE FC card.
CO-MAIN EVENT — JEAN “LORD” SILVA vs. BRYCE “THUG NASTY” MITCHELL | Submission Only (8 min.) (Rematch from UFC 314)
When these two met at UFC 314 in Miami in April 2025, few expected the striker to be the one to end the night with a submission. Brazilian featherweight Jean “Lord” Silva defied expectations by finishing grappling specialist Bryce “Thug Nasty” Mitchell with a precision ninja choke in round two — one of the most memorable finishes of the year and a performance that earned Silva a Fight of the Night bonus. Now, on submission-only mats in front of his Brazilian home crowd, Silva looks to cement his grappling credentials once and for all. At the same time, the ever-dangerous Mitchell will be motivated to turn the tables in this highly anticipated rematch.
SHARA “BULLET” MAGOMEDOV vs. Edson “Junior” Barboza | Submission Only (6 min.)
Two of combat sports’ most explosive strikers trade leather for leverage as the electric Shara “Bullet” Magomedov faces Brazilian fan favorite Edson “Junior” Barboza in a six-minute submission-only grappling bout. Barboza, who is widely regarded as one of the most dynamic and exciting fighters in MMA history, steps onto the mats in Rio having collected ten UFC “Fight of the Night” bonuses and a highlight reel that has thrilled fans around the world. Magomedov arrives with momentum of his own following a hard-fought draw against Tsarukyan at Hype FC’s December event. A compelling clash between two world-class athletes known for their striking brilliance, this matchup adds another must-see moment to the stacked Hype Brazil card.
