JK Media & Empire MMA Announce Four MMA Bouts On Saturday, March 14
JK Media and Empire MMA have announced four featured mixed martial arts (MMA) bouts as part of a star-studded Empire MMA 14 event broadcast live from Medellín, Colombia. The action airs in Spanish in the U.S. on Saturday, March 14 at 8:00 p.m. ET on Telemundo Deportes Ahora, the 24/7 Spanish-language free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel. The event is produced by JK Media, a leader in creating bilingual, award-winning content across the Americas.
The main card features a men’s Peso Ligero (155 pounds) showdown between Colombia’s Andres Escudero and fellow Colombian Jorge Loaiza. Preliminary bouts include two men’s Peso Pluma (145 pounds) matchup between Stivin Beddoya and Felipe Grajales, and Sebastian Cardona against Ivan Londoño.
The evening will feature a women’s flyweight (125 pounds) showdown between Helena Simas of Brazil and Alejandra Lara of Colombia, showcasing the growth of women in the sport of MMA in Latin America during Women’s History Month.
