Força Promotions June 6 Boxing Event In Waterbury, CT
Professional boxing is finally returning to Waterbury, Connecticut after nearly a 50-year hiatus. Força Promotions has officially announced that its inaugural boxing event Fight Night at The Palace will take place on June 6, 2026 at the historic Palace Theater in Waterbury, Connecticut. The night will feature an exciting lineup of professional boxing, showcasing established names and rising talent in front of a passionate local crowd. The fight card will be headlined by Waterbury’s own Mike “The Savage” Kimbel, an undefeated super lightweight known for his explosive power and exciting fighting style.
The event will also feature former world title contender Chordale “The Gift” Booker (Stamford, CT) and former world title contender “The Mighty Midget” Tramaine Williams (New Haven, CT), two of Connecticut’s most accomplished professional fighters. The night will also mark the professional
boxing debut of heavyweight Quentin Pasley (New Haven, CT), adding another intriguing storyline to what promises to be a compelling and action-packed evening of boxing. “We’re excited to bring a great night of boxing to Waterbury and to showcase talented fighters in a first-class venue like the Palace Theater,” said Promoter Attorney Carlos Santos. “This event is just the beginning for Força Promotions as we work to create exciting opportunities for fighters and memorable experiences for fans.”
In addition to the night of boxing, 10% of all event proceeds will support the Waterbury PAL Youth Boxing Program, helping provide opportunities for young athletes and investing in the next generation of fighters in the community. The June 6 card will feature additional bouts highlighting local prospects and emerging contenders, with more fight announcements expected in the coming weeks. Tickets will be going on sale soon.
