Belgian boxing History Being Made: Lerena Vs Merhy May 30

WBC bridgerweight champion Kevin Lerena (31-4) will defend the title at the Dome in Charleroi, Belgium, on May 30 against Belgian Ryad Merhy (35-3) on a show promoted by Alain Vanackere and 12 Rounds Promotion.
Lerena beat Merhy in South Africa back in 2023 but has also tried his luck at heavyweight, losing to Justis Huni and Lawrence Okolie.
Merhy has gone 4-1 since losing to Lerena. He defeated Tony Yoka but lost to Jared Anderson.
According to 12 Rounds Promotion, this will be the first WBC world title fight in Belgium.
Super lightweight Antoine Vanackere (26-1) and former IBF champion Femke Hermans (18-5) are also on the bill, with more fights to be added.
