Following the injury-related postponement of the “World Championship Showdown”—featuring the main event between Roman Fress and Tommy Punch (Tahir Kahrovic)—to May 30 in the Magdeburg Exhibition Halls, the two “Team Germany” boxers Julian Vogel and Michel Dobler, who were both originally scheduled to fight on March 7 at this SES Boxing Gala, now have the opportunity to showcase the results of their intensive training next Saturday in Brno, Czech Republic.
In Brno’s Sono Arena, WBO Junior World Champion Julian Vogel will face Czech fighter Petr Brodsky in a six-round bout. SES Boxing heavyweight prospect Michel Dobler will also make his international debut, taking on Halim Haxhijaj—a Kosovar based in Germany—in a six-round fight that marks Dobler’s fifth professional appearance.
