Kabayel Could Return Mid-May In Dortmund
The always well informed German paper BILD writes that the 15,000-seat Westfalenhalle in Dortmund is booked for an event mid-May featuring WBC interim heavyweight champ Agit Kabayel, 27-0, 19- KOs (29-2 with the four Bigger is Better fights included).
Finding a suitable opponent might be difficult though as many of the big name fighters are occupied elsewhere. We have the man himself, Oleksandr Usyk fighting Rico Verhoeven May 23, Daniel Dubois vs Fabian Wardley May 9 and Lawrence Okolie vs Tony Yoka in Paris April 25.
BILD don’t speculate on who Kabayel might face but German site boxen1.com mention 41-year old Albanian Nelson Hysa (24-0, 22 KO) as a possible opponent, as Hysa has been mentioned before.
