iVB, the live sports entertainment organization, will be broadcasting the International Battle of the Badges III (BOTB) boxing event live on YouTube at Madison Square Garden Infosys Theater, New York on March 6, 2026.
The iVB backed event supports great causes and every punch thrown generates funds for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, The Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Foundation, The FDNY Foundation, NY Firefighters Foundation, and the Fire Family Transport Foundation.
Robert McGuire, President of The FDNY Boxing Club, said: “Charity events of this scale, in the world’s most famous arena and in the mecca of boxing, are simply not possible without the generosity of people like those from iVB. We are proud to have iVB standing with us for these worthy causes.”
This is the third installment of the Battle of the Badges which sees active firefighters, police officers, emergency medics and other first responders stepping into the ring and raising money for great causes.
Last year the home team, the FDNY Bravest Boxing Team, took on fighters from cities across the USA including Chicago, Atlanta, Boston and Denver, along with teams from the UK and Ireland, featuring a record number of female boxers.
Over $250,000 (£196,000) has been raised by The FDNY Boxing Club for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation over the last two years with $50,000 (£36,650) generated from the 2025 BOTB show.
iVB CEO Ed Pereira was integral to bringing May’s iconic fight card to Times Square, one of the world’s busiest thoroughfares, as Ryan Garcia, Teofimo Lopez and Devin Haney performed in the ring. Now, Pereira and iVB return to New York City in support of the 2026 International BOTB III event.
Ed Pereira, the iVB CEO, said: “Last year, working with the Times Square event, we had the chance to work closely with the New York services and see first hand the amazing work they do every day across the city. This partnership with the Battle of the Badges gives us the chance to help shine a light on the people and the wonderful charities at the heart of this event.
“Backing charities that support the families of service men and women who have given their lives in the line of duty is incredibly important to iVB. Bringing boxing back to the people means standing behind the communities that built the sport and this event reflects exactly that.”
Tickets for the International Battle of the Badges III at Madison Square Garden Infosys Theater on March 6, 2026 are available now via Ticketmaster.
