Leigh Wood made it look easy over Josh Warrington in their 12 round rematch. Unlike their last fight over 2 years ago, Wood started more quickly and confidently, taking the initiative from the get-go.
Warrington for his part seemed intent on not getting caught with a big punch, unlike the last time, when he was winning only to get suddenly stopped. For his part, Wood stayed southpaw with his hands down boxing confidently. Wood won convincingly by scores of 119-109, 119-110 and 117-111. Wood goes to 28-4, 17 KOs. Warrington falls to 32-5-1, 8 KOs. Neither man were prepared to say what their future holds in the ring immediately afterward.
