Montreal Top Prospect Keven Beausejour Joins Eye Of the Tiger!
Eye of the Tiger is proud to announce the long-term signing of promising Montreal prospect Keven Beausejour. He becomes the 24th athlete under contract with the Quebec-based organization and will return to the ring on April 9 at the Casino de Montréal, on the undercard of the unified world championship bout between Osleys Iglesias and Pavel Silyagin.
“I am extremely excited to sign with EOTTM. It’s a major step in my career and a great source of pride for me to join an elite team. All the work done behind the scenes is finally paying off, and I’m ready to aim for the highest heights and proudly represent where I come from,” said the light heavyweight (175 lb) prospect, Keven Beausejour.
Keven Beausejour (2-0, 2 KOs) made a spectacular professional debut, winning in the first round of a fight held in Mexico last December. The 26-year-old Quebecer then earned a tryout bout with EOTTM on February 5 in Montreal, where he once again delivered on all expectations, securing a second-round victory against an opponent who had never previously been stopped. The full fight is also available (HERE).
With a well-established Olympic boxing career, Keven Beausejour has found success at every level at which he has competed. With nearly 70 bouts to his name, he has been crowned Canadian national champion four times, won the 2023 Continental Championships, and enjoyed strong performances at both the Pan American Games and the Commonwealth Games. Along the way, he also earned victories over two former EOTTM boxers, Raphael Courchesne and Lexson Mathieu.
“Put classical music on during one of Keven’s fights and you’ll understand that it’s not a brawl — it’s art. Boxing fans are going to discover an athlete with incredible composure, flawless defense, and punches planted like a flag in enemy territory,” said Lyousfi El Mostafa, head coach of the new EOTTM recruit, who trains at The Corner Gym in Montreal.
A limited number of tickets for the #IglesiasSilyagin event, also featuring Keven Beausejour at the Casino de Montréal on April 9, are still available on the Ticketmaster platform (HERE). Photos from the new Eye of the Tiger recruit’s most recent fight are also available in EOTTM’s press kit (HERE).
