Fress Vs. Punch Postponed
The cruiserweight world championship showdown between Roman Fress (GER) and Tommy Punch (GER), originally scheduled for March 7, 2026, at the Magdeburg Exhibition Centre, has been postponed due to injury. The new date is May 30, 2026 , and the venue remains the Magdeburg Exhibition Centre.
The reason for the change of date is an injury suffered by Tommy Punch (Tahir Kahrovic) during sparring, which from a medical point of view does not currently allow optimal preparation for this high-class fight.
Fans can still look forward to a sporting highlight: “ The World Championship Showdown” between Roman Fress and Tommy Punch promises top-level excitement on the new date and will attract national and international attention as the central event of the SES boxing gala.

Tickets already purchased for the SES boxing gala on March 7, 2026 will remain valid for the event on May 30, 2026 at the same venue in the Magdeburg Exhibition Center!
