Jeter Promotions Signs Yevgeniy Pavlov
Tony Jeter’s “Jeter Promotions” has signed former #4 WBA ranked 122 pound prospect out of Petropavl, Kazakhstan, Yevgeniy Pavlov to a promotional deal. Pavlov won the WBA International super bantamweight title on September 12, 2021 when, in only his fifth pro outing, he stopped Ghana’s 25-1-1 (20 KOs) Isaac Sackey in four rounds. Pavlov eventually improved to 10-0, (8 KOs,) by May of 2023. He’s been dormant since then due to promotional issues. With those behind him and now living in Philadelphia, Pavlov will return to the ring as a super featherweight. His managerial team- Tengri Sport Management and Jeter Promotions, have high hopes for their charge, “We’re optimistic that ‘Pablo’ will become a world champion,” said Tony Jeter. The ring name of ‘Pablo’ was bestowed upon Pavlov by team Canelo Alvarez during his last three fights in Mexico. Jeter is looking to get Pavlov back in the ring on their April show.
