Big Cuban heavyweight Jose Larduet (15-2) lost a ten round majority decision to Russian Murat Khalidov (12-0) January 30 in Moscow.
It was scored 98-92, 99-92 and 95-95.
Larduet, promoted by Universum Box Promotion, in Germany, has always looked a little too heavy and weighed about 120 kg / 260 lbs for his last fight in November of last year. For the fight against Khalidov Jose came in at 129,7 kg / 286 lbs.
Khalidov won the IBA-Pro Intercontinental European title in an important win against a decent opponent.
