DagoBox Fight Series Brings UBO Championship Boxing To El Salvador.
DagoBox Promotions in association with Trujillo Promotions brings Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) championship boxing to El Salvador on Friday February 27.
At The Valencia Rooftop in Santa Elena, Guatemalan national champion Billy Aceituno (10-3-1, 7 KOs) will face Mexican puncher Juan Ramon Guzman Conteras (18-8-1, 14 KOs) for the vacant UBO International Welterweight title in the main event of DagoBox Fight Series 02.
After a rough start to his pro campaign, going 2-3-1 between January of 2022 and February of 2024, Aceituno has won eight straight, seven inside the distance.
He turned things around when he stopped undefeated American Alexander Hernandez (6-0) in July of 2024, and went on to win the Guatemalan title in the following fight.
Known as “La Maquina”, The Machine”, he will be a healthy favourite against “El Pero” Guzman Conteras, but will be in with a dangerous and more experienced man who is coming to win.
The 33-year-old heavy-handed southpaw from Baja California has faced much tougher opponents than Aceituno (29) has, and will not be fazed by the upcoming challenge.
