Wood-Warrington II Fight Week Schedule Confirmed
A rematch over two years in the making is almost upon us as the countdown to Wood vs Warrington II ramps up.
Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena is sold out on Saturday, February 21 when bitter rivals Leigh Wood and Josh Warrington will battle to settle their differences once and for all.
Hometown favourite Wood won the first fight in October 2023 with a dramatic seventh round stoppage to end an enthralling encounter in Sheffield.
Earlier this week, Matchroom Boxing reimagined the duo’s long standing rivalry in the year 2075 for its official promo – you can watch it in the video player below.
The stacked card features Ishamel Davis’ first defence of his British Super Welterweight Championship against Bilal Fawaz, Sandy Ryan fighting Karla Ramos Zamora for the WBC World Super Lightweight Title, Heavyweights Dave Allen and Leo Atang – plus, teenage sensation Tiah-Mai Ayton and Molly McCann.
Media have until 5pm on Friday, February 6 to apply for Fight Night and Fight Week accreditation.
