Fernandez Vs Bilal March 14 In Bilbao

EBU super lightweight champion Jon Fernandez (28-3) will make a voluntary defense of the title March 14 at the La Casilla Pavilion in Bilbao (Spain) against Dutchman Somay Bilal (18-1).

For Fernandez, it is the first defense of the title he won by stopping Italian Armando Casamonica in November of last year. Bilal is Dutch champ but this is the biggest fight of his career.

Mandatory challenger is Italian Charlemagne Metonyekpon (17-2). In the co-feature, Spaniard Jokin Garcia (13-2-1) and Italian veteran Gianluca Ceglia (22-5-1) clash with the vacant EBU Silver lightweight title at stake.

The event is a co-feature staged by Kamikaze and PCI Promotions.
