Robert Daniels Jr. (10-2, 9 KOs) of Miami stopped power punching Christian Andres Peña (11-3, 10 KOs) of Colombia on Saturday . The scheduled 10 round bout took place in Santa Marta, Colombia. The southpaw Daniels set the pace early in round one showing his superior hand speed, launching rapid fire punches on Peña. The local favorite Peña was very game, to his credit. Daniels switched his focus to body attack in round 2 and found success scoring a knockdown. Peña beat the count but was again sent down with a series of body shots moments later, where he was counted out. Solid road winning performance by Daniels Jr., who is the son of former Cruiserweight world champion Robert Daniels Sr.
