Richards-Ramirez Interim WBA Light Heavyweight Title Fight Week Schedule From Montréal
Eye of the Tiger protégé Albert Ramirez (22-0, 19 KOs) and Britain’s Lerrone Richards (19-1, 4 KOs) will square off next Thursday in an interim WBA light heavyweight world championship bout at the Casino de Montréal.
In the co-main event, two-time Olympian Dzmitry Asanau (11-0, 5 KOs) will defend his WBC Continental lightweight title against Spanish champion Carlos Ramos (18-3-1, 10 KOs).
On the undercard, top-10 world-ranked light heavyweight contender Mehmet Unal (14-0, 12 KOs) will face Germany’s Altin Zogaj (17-0, 9 KOs) in a clash of undefeated fighters. The warrior from Thetford Mines, Thomas Chabot (11-1, 8 KOs), Canadian Olympic medalist Wyatt Sanford (5-0, 2 KOs), Montreal’s Keven Beausejour (1-0, 1 KO), and Longueuil’s pride Dante Tice (1-0) will also be in action starting at 6:30 p.m. on Punchinggrace.com.
