Newly crowned WBO European heavyweight champion Viktor Faust (17-1) will defend the title against 46-year old Polish veteran Mariusz Wach (39-12) March 25 in Budapest (Hungary).
Faust won the title January 17 in Flensburg by knockout in 18 seconds over Macedonian Todorche Cvetkov (14-4) in a joke of a fight.
Wach has been around since 2005 and challenged then WBO / IBF / IBO champ Wladimir Klitschko in 2012 but lost a wide decision. A stoppage loss to then WBC International title holder Alexander Povetkin followed and since then the big Pole has been a gatekeeper of sorts.
