EBU Calls For Masternak Vs Riley Purse Bids

The EBU are now calling for purse bids for Mateusz Masternak’s defence of the cruiserweight title against mandatory challenger Viddal Riley (13-0) from the UK. The deadline is February 17 at noon.
The 38-year old Masternak (50-6) from Poland is in his second reign as EBU champ and won the title by beating Belgian Joel Tambwe Djeko (19-4-1) October 4 of last year. He’s also won a number of sub titles in the big organisations but never a world title.
Riley, promoted by MF Pro, won the British title April 26 of last year by beating Cheavon Clarke but hasn’t fought since then. A fight against Aloys Junior was talked about all through 2025 but never materialized.
