Mykal Fox Defends UBO Title Against Ray Robinson February 21st
Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Continental (North America) Super Welterweight champion Mykal Fox (25-5, 5 KOs) was supposed to defend his title last November against Mark Dawson, but unfortunately Dawson pulled out the day of the weigh-in, leaving “The Professor” without a fight.
Now he will face an even tougher challenger, as he takes on highly respected and accomplished Philadelphia contender Ray Robinson (26-3-2, 14 KOs) in the main event of a show staged by Jeter Promotions at the Live Casino & Hotel in Hanover, Maryland on February 21.
Fox captured the UBO Continental (North America) title in July of 2025 with a shut-out unanimous decision over the tough Kendo Castaneda. A year before that he won UBO Inter-Continental honours at Welterweight.
The 30-year-old Southpaw from Upper Marlboro, Maryland, has proven himself world class time and time again, but been unlucky in his biggest fights, losing controversial decisions to WBA world champion Gabriel Maestre and WBC world champion Serhii Bohachuk.
Robinson has also shown numerous times that he is world class, and beaten several highly ranked opponents. He also holds draws with European champion Egidijus Kavaliauskas, and British hot-shot Josh Kelly, who is soon challenging for the IBF world title.
This will be a very tough fight for the reigning UBO champion, but also another chance for him to solidify himself as one of the best while he continues his hunt for another shot at a world championship.
For Robinson the same applies: Another opportunity to prove himself against a top-class foe, and he will do all he can to make the most of it.
