Huck To Come Back…Again!

Former WBO cruiserweight champ Marco Huck (43-5-1) will, according to BILD, return to action against an opponent to be announced February 14 at the Gerry Weber Stadion in Halle / Westfalen (Germany).

The now 41-year old Huck, campaigning at heavyweight, last fought in 2024 when he outscored Evginios Lazarides but that comeback ended due to injuries.

The comeback before that was in 2020 with a points win over big (350 lbs for that fight) Dennis Lewandowski.

Huck’s career effectively ended when he suffered back to back losses against Mairis Briedis and Oleksandr Usyk in 2017.

Back in the day (2009-2014) Huck was a long time reigning WBO cruiserweight champion, trained by the legendary Ulli Wegner and promoted by Sauerland Event.
