Elongated southpaw, unbeaten Kuntae Lee (11-0-1, 2 KOs; amateur 102-10 with 62 consecutive wins), 140, impressively acquired the vacant WBO Asia Pacific junior welterweight belt as he completely outpunched onrushing puncher Daishi Nagata (21-5-2, 7 KOs; amateur 41-21), 140, winning a nearly shutout decision (99-91 twice, 100-90) over ten hard-fought rounds on Saturday in Tokyo, Japan. In an all-southpaw bout Lee had the upper hand over the veteran rival all the way, utilizing his physique, speed and skills.
