Moussa Gholam Vs Melving Lopez February 28 In Buenos Aires

Moroccan super featherweight and WBA Continental Americas Gold champ Moussa Gholam (24-1) meets Nicaraguan Melving Lopez (34-2) at the Casino Buenos Aires in Buenos Aires February 28. The fight is scheduled for 12 rounds.
The 30-year old Moussa Gholam is ranked number 6 by the WBA while Lopez is # 14 so the winner will likely be promoted to top three.
Gholam is based in Spain and signed with German Agon Sports last year and has since been fighting twice in Cuba and once in Madrid. His sole loss came in Russia in 2022 when he lost a split decision to Elniur Samedov.
Lopez is 5-0 since losing to Emmanuel Rodriguez in an IBF bantamweight title fight.
Agon also has Cuban super lightweight Erislandy Alvarez (6-0) and German super welter Paul Wall (10-0) on the bill.
The event in Buenos Aires is promoted by Sampson Boxing and Tello Box.
