Friday the 13th of March, Dragon Fire Boxing hits the Metro City Arena for the first time this year for Thunderdome 53 with a stacked card.

One of the main events features a much-anticipated Trilogy for the WBC Australasia Flyweight Women’s Championship featuring Holly McMath and Sarah Higginson.

McMath opens up about her opponent: “Sarah is tough, aggressive, and strong. She always brings pressure and never backs down. We’ve shared the ring twice now, so there’s no mystery. I respect her grit, but I also know my skill level, ring IQ, and versatility are on a different level. This third fight is about putting a clear stamp on the rivalry.”

“Fighting for the WBC title means everything. I’ve wanted the green belt since I started boxing and now a dream will become reality. Winning this title puts me exactly where I want to be and opens the door to bigger world opportunities.”

“My goal for 2026 is massive: establish myself as a world-ranked fighter and show that I’m one of the best in the division.”

“To my fans – It’s time, LFG!”

Higginson is a former, W.A State, ANBF Australasian & WBA Oceania Champion and now looks to add WBC Australasia silver wear to her cabinet.

Higginson opens up about her opponent: “She is fast, jab jab jab and run. Love to see her sit and trade….lol.”

“I’m a massive advocate for strong women in and outside of the ring and I’ve continued to encourage other women to do what’s right for them, but this time I need to do what’s right for me and to be given this opportunity to stand in front of my home town and fight for a WBC belt…this is a home run! But I ain’t running around the ring lol.”

“People will continue to provide them with their opinions. Should you take the advise? Yes, if it is in line with what you believe. If not, trash it and move on. Back at Thunderdome once again, and it’s nice that my followers get to it see it once again. I’m also one to bring out the best in a fight whether I win, lose or draw”.
