Heavyweight Triple Header Lands In Nigeria
Balmoral Group Promotions, AK Promotions, and Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions are proud to announce Chaos In The Ring II, a historic Heavyweight Triple Header set for Friday, December 19, 2025, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos, Nigeria. This electrifying night of boxing, broadcast live worldwide on DAZN, will showcase Nigeria’s finest talents and mark a landmark moment for African boxing.

Two-weight world champion and WBC number one heavyweight contender, Lawrence Okolie (22-1, 16 KOs), headlines in his first professional fight on African soil. The 33-year-old, born in London to Nigerian parents, captured the WBO cruiserweight title in 2021 with a sixth-round KO of Krzysztof Glowacki and successfully defended it three times before picking up the WBC bridgerweight world title on his road to heavyweight. Known for his devastating power, Okolie will look to put on a statement performance fighting for family legacy in Lagos as he vies to become a three weight world champion in 2026.

In the co-main event, heavyweight contender David Adeleye (14-2, 13 KOs) brings his explosive style to Lagos, aiming to rebound from a valiant effort against top-ranked Filip Hrgovic (19-1, 14 KOs). The 28-year-old, born in London with deep Nigerian roots, turned professional in 2019 and quickly established himself as a knockout artist, with 13 of his 14 wins coming inside the distance. Adeleye’s aggressive style and hometown support make him a fan favorite for this pivotal bout.
David Adeleye said: “Nigeria – Motide, mo wa nile – I’m coming home. What an honour and a pleasure it will be to fight back home in my parent’s land. A country that has birthed many greats, and I’m adding to that list. It’s a dream come true. The first fight there was spectacular. This time we’re doubling up and we’re bringing even more fire. Anthony Joshua’s Heavyweight, Emanuel Odiase (9-0, 8 KOs) will return to the same arena where he delivered a devastating 1st round KO victory in a big step up. He will be looking to deliver another statement performance and announce himself as the breakout star in the heavyweight division and outperform his rivals.
In an all Nigerian clash, local hero Taiwo Agbaje (18-0, 13 KOs) will battle against his fierce punching rival Musa Tope Tajudeen (19-1, 17 KOs) in a mouthwatering clash that is set to steal the show. The Nigerian icon will look to capture the imagination of global fans as he edges closer to a world title shot against the likes of Nick Ball (23-0-1, 13 KOs).
