The main event of the card will be a 10-round bout for the World Boxing Organization (WBO) NABO Lightweight Championship (135 pounds) between rising Puerto Rican star Joshua “Double J” Pagán (13-0, 4 KOs) and the strong American puncher Maliek “Mayhem” Montgomery (20-1, 18 KOs).
” I feel great for this fight, ready to win the championship,” Pagán said. “Montgomery is a truly tough opponent coming to fight. We’ve prepared as best we can for him. No matter what he brings, we’re ready. On Thursday night, I’ll be here to put on a great show for all my fans in Puerto Rico and on DAZN for my fans in Michigan. This will be another step on my path to a world championship. ”
In the semi-main event of the evening, fought for the first time in front of her home crowd in Puerto Rico, Paris 2024 Olympian Ashleyann “La Máquina” Lozada (2-0, 1 KOs) will face an important challenge against the fierce southpaw fighter Melissa Parker (6-3-1, 2 KOs), where the World Boxing Council (WBC) Latin Super Bantamweight Championship (122 lbs) will be at stake.

My mission is to become a world champion, and that’s what I’ve been working toward. On Thursday, I’m going for the knockout and to give that victory to all my fans.”

This union between Universal Promotions and Salita Promotions will be explosive and will open many doors for Puerto Rican talent. It will be a great night of live boxing on DAZN.”
