Former WBA superfly world champion, Venezuelan Liborio Solis (37-8-1, 18 KOs) completed his training camp in the Pedro Alcazar gym in Curundu, Panama to face Ukranian Arnold Kegai (22-2-1, 14 KOs), on Friday night at the Uber Eats Music Hall in Berlin, Germany.
“I was informed about this fight a month and a half ago, so I’ve had time enough for a good preparation” said Liborio. “I had very intensive sparring sessions with local prospects Angel Bethancourt and Ernesto Marin”, he added.
About his opponent, Solis said “We watched a couple of his fights and I know he is strong and very aggressive, but I’m also very strong and I have something he lacks, experience and a better boxing style. At my age I fear nothing in the ring and I’m going there to fight and win”.
“I have nothing to prove, I stay active because I love to fight and consider myself a very competitive world class boxer” concluded the 43-year old veteran, who traveled on Monday night along with his experienced trainer Marcos Martinez.
