Murtazaliev demolishes Tszyu in three

Unbeaten IBF junior middleweight champion Bakhram Murtazaliev (23-0, 17 KOs) destroyed former WBO champion Tim Tszyu (24-2, 17 KOs) in three rounds on Saturday night at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida. Both fighters went right at each other in round one. Murtazaliev got to Tszyu in round two, dropping him three times. Murtazaliev floored Tszyu again in round three and the towel came in soon after. Time was 1:55.

Unbeaten super welterweight Yoenis Tellez (9-0, 7 KOs) impressively knocked out Johan Gonzalez (35-4, 34 KOs) in round seven. Tellez dropped Gonzalez in round six and twice more in round seven to end it. Time was 1:57.

In a knockdown-filled war, unbeaten middleweight César Mateo Tapia (16-0-1, 10 KOs) and Endry Saavedra (16-1-1, 13 KOs) battled to a ten round majority draw. Saavedra dropped Tapia twice in round three. Tapia floored Saavedra in round five. Saavedra dropped Tapia again in round nine. Scores were 94-92 Tapia, 93-93, 93-93.

Super bantamweight Gary Antonio Russell (20-1, 13 KOs) returned from a two-year layoff to knock out Jaden Burnias (6–3, 4 KOs) in the fourth round.

Unbeaten heavyweight prospect Dainier Pero (9-0, 7 KOs) stopped Willie Jake, Jr. (11-6-2, 3 KOs) in round three.

Unbeaten super featherweight Justin Viloria (7-0, 5 KOs) stopped journeyman Diuhl Olguin (16-41-7, 10 KOs) in round seven. Yes, Justin is the nephew of nephew of former two-weight world champion Brian Viloria.
