WBO junior bantamweight champion Kazuto Ioka (28-2, 15 KOs), Japan, 33, has made weight at 115-pound class limit. His challenger WBO #1 ranked Donnie Nietes (43-1-6, 23 KOs), Philippines, 40, tipped the beam at 114.5 pounds, a half-pound under the limit.
The defending champ Ioka is eager to avenge his previous split decision loss to Nietes on New Year’s Eve 2018.
