Ferreira Vince il French Rendez-Vous. Fioravanti al Terzo Posto
Si è concluso ieri il Rendez Vous francese organizzato dalla WSL tra gli eventi speciali del calendario 2020. Italo Ferreira e Johanne Defay hanno vinte le rispettive categorie. In formissima Leonardo Fioravanti che è arrivato in semifinale dove ha perso con Ferreira, portando a casa un ottimo terzo posto.
Il campione del mondo Italo Ferreira rimane imbattuto al Rendez Vous in Francia mentre la campionessa Johanne Defay afferma la sua dominanza sul campo.
Super consistente lo spagnolo Andy Criere arrivato in finale contro Italo, confermando di essere uno dei più forti surfisti europei.
Sorpresa dell’evento, il giovane Tahitiano Kauli Vaast che ha fatto passare un brutto quarto d’ora allo stesso Ferreira, quando lo ha eliminato al primo round costringendolo al round 2 eliminatorio prima di poter rientrare in gara nel main event.
