On this day in 1996, Damon Hill took the checkered flag at the Brazilian Grand Prix, clinching his 15th career win.
It was a milestone victory for the Hill family as Damon went one better than his legendary father's 14 Grand Prix win tally.
The Williams-Renault stalwart took full advantage of his pole position at Interlagos to power ahead and leave his rivals in his spray as a downpour hit the track.
It was Hill's second consecutive win in his world championship-winning banner season.
