Muere la madre de Sylvester Stallone, precursora de la rumpología y la lucha libre femenina

La madre del actor Sylvester Stallone, Jackie, ha fallecido este lunes a los 98 años, como así ha informado con gran pesar otro de sus hijos, Frank, a través de sus redes sociales hace tan solo unas horas. Murió mientras dormía, como era su deseo. «Era una mujer extraordinaria que se ejercitaba todos los días. Estaba llena de coraje y no tenía miedo. Su mente estuvo lúcida hasta el día en que murió», escribe. Y prosigue: «Era difícil no caerle bien, era una persona muy excéntrica y extravagante. Nació el 29 de noviembre de 1921 en Washington DC, vivió la prohibición, la depresión y la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Hablaba con ella durante horas sobre los años 20, 30 y 40. Era una lección de historia». Jackie, al igual que Sylvester Stallone, cultivó su cuerpo hasta el final. De hecho, cuando solo tenía 16 años se escapó de su casa para convertirse en acróbata de circo y más tarde trabajar en el circuito de lucha libre femenino. Fue una de sus grandes precursoras. La vida le llevó a vender cigarrillos en un conocido local de la época en Manhattan frecuentado por grandes estrellas del cine. She was the mother to four children, Tommy, Sylvester, Frankie and my late sister Toni Ann. She was a remarkable woman working out everyday full of spunk and fearless . She died in her sleep as she had wished. It was hard not to like her, she was very eccentric and flamboyant person. I will never be able to call my mom again or have her yell at me why I never got married . But we all loved her and her sprit to survive and prevail . A medida que la fama de su hijo Sylvester crecía, también lo hacía la de su madre. Se convirtió a los 60 años en la gran protagonista del primer programa de televisión de lucha libre femenina: GLOW Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. No le importaba lo que opinaban sus hijos. «Estoy segura de que mis hijos se avergüenzan. Creen que no es la posición para mí, para una madre. Probablemente piensan que debería quedarme en casa y meterme en mis asuntos. Pero no se dan cuenta de que si me hubiera quedado en casa, Sylvester no estaría haciendo esas películas que hace. Estaría viendo la televisión», explicaba a la citada entrevista. Tuvo además un papel muy importante como precursora de la rumpología, la pseudociencia que lee el futuro de las personas a través del trasero.
