Lady Captain’s Weekly News 23rd December 2024

I would like to wish you all my best for the Christmas Holiday and a prosperous New Year. We have had a busy week with the Staff & Members competition on Tuesday and The Charity Texas Scramble on Saturday. All the entries fees plus the money raised from members buying Mulligans – a bit of fun !! went to our Charities. The club generously donated green fees from Zaudin Golf Club (Sevilla) and Sherry Golf plus wine and chocolates.

Thank you to Mirko and Louis and the team for all their hard work. Both the lunches went down very well. The level of catering at these events over this year has been very high, which I think is reflected on the number of members who join in and support. Alicia and Mendi just before they set off on the course bringing refreshments and delicious pastries.

This event is a special day to say thank you to all the San Roque Team who look after us so well. Please remember to drop of your Christmas bonus at the pro shop or Alicia to show our appreciation, which will then be distributed to all the staff ranging from greenkeepers, housekeepers, admin staff, bar & catering staff. The deadline is the 4th January 2025.

The whole day was a great success. Thanks to the members we managed to raise 1,090 euros. Toon bought Liz and Paul’s vouchers who then donated the value of their Sherry Golf vouchers to our charities. Many thanks.
