Dear Member,

As a continuation of the statement sent earlier in relation to the measures adopted by the Club and as a consequence of the unfavorable evolution of the country’s health emergency situation due to the extension of COVID-19, taking into account the most recent recommendations issued by the competent organizations and having as main objectives the protection of the club, its employees and its members, we have been forced to temporarily close ALL Club facilities (including golf course) until further notice (by goverment decree).

Despite the closure of the Club, there will be minimum surveillance and maintenance services for the golf course. The Club will only be able to attend you by phone from 9am till 5pm or by email, you are also able to update your self through our website or Club App.

We encourage Members to stay home following all the recommendations from the WHO.

The Club’s closing period will be subject to the evolution of the health emergency situation. The club will strictly follow the instructions provided by the health authorities and will keep the members promptly informed.

The Decree Law issued today enforces especific limitation of the freedom of movement of people. During the term of the state of alarm, people may only travel on public roads to be able to carry out the following activities:

1. The purchase of foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals and essential items.
2. To attend health centers.
3. To go to work or to provide employment services.
4. To return to your usual residence.
5. To assist and care for seniors, minors, dependants, the disabled, or people who are particularly vulnerable.
6. In cases of force majeure or of necessity.
7. Any other activity that is, by its nature, justified.
8. Vehicles may take to the roads for any of the aforementioned activities, as well as to refuel at gas stations.

All premises and establishments that carry out public-facing activity are closed, apart from those distributing foodstuffs and essential items.
Therefore, we would like to point out that any movement towards and/or through the facilities and/or the golf course are totally prohibited, this is typified in the decree as non-compliance or resistance to the orders of the competent authorities in the state of alarm and that they may be sanctioned in accordance with the laws, in the terms established in article 10 of Organic Law 4/1981, of June 1.

The Club is very closely monitoring Spanish government´s advice on Coronavirus and taking appropriate measures. We deeply regret this situation and recommend that all members and employees follow the recommendations of the health authorities.
