Bruins deny women’s water polo MPSF title

After routing No. 22 CSU Bakersfield (, 0-6 MPSF) 14-2 and edging No. 3 USC (27-3, 4-2) 6-5 to advance to the championship game of the MPSF tournament this weekend, No. 2 Stanford women's water polo (20-3, 5-1)) were outmuscled by the top-ranked UCLA Bruins (22-1, 6-0) 6-3 on Sunday and finished second of the tournament.
