CHENGDU, July 29 (Xinhua) -- After their victory over the United States, Italy's men's water polo coach Daniele Bettini is more confident of his team's goal of title defense.

"We were the champions at the last FISU World University Games, and we want to be the champions again," Bettini said.

Italy, one of powerhouses in the sport, defeated last edition's runners-up U.S. 13-11 at Modern Pentathlon Center S
