Canada moves on to the quarterfinals despite loss to Greece

Canada lost 6-19 to Greece in its fourth and final game of the preliminary round at the Olympic Qualification Tournament on Thursday in Rotterdam in the Netherlands. With the result, the Canadians close this opening round in fourth position in Group A and move on to the quarterfinals. A big challenge is awaiting Canada since it will face the top team in Group B, Russia, on Friday in the hope of staying on the road to Tokyo 2020. Only the top three teams at this tournament will earn a spot at the Olympic Games later this summer.
