The Canadian women defeated Kazakhstan 24-7 to finish ninth at the 2019 FINA World Championships in Gwangju, South Korea. The two nations exchanged goals in the opening minutes of the game, but Canada slowly built up its lead to show a 7-3 advantage at the end of the first quarter. The Canucks stuck to their game plan and never looked back to record a 24-7 victory.
