Canadian women fight back but come up short against the Dutch.
The Canadian women's team came up short in a close battle against the Netherlands at the 2019 FINA World Championships in Gwangju. With a spot in the quarterfinals on the line, Canada's defence was brilliant from start to finish. After a 0-0 first quarter, the Dutch had a 4-2 lead after the second quarter. The Canadian women slowly came back into the match but ran out of time and saw Holland record the 5-4 win.
