Scholarship Application Process

If you are a high school senior who is in good standing with the North Texas Region of USA Volleyball, then you are eligible to apply for one of our scholarships. We’re excited to award ten $1000 scholarships to deserving participants! We use an online application so all you have to do is fill out the form, upload your documents, and click submit! Once you apply, your application will be reviewed by our scholarship committee. The deadline is March 1, 2026.

 Scholarship recipients will meet the following criteria for consideration:

• Be a high school senior attending a high school in the North Texas Region
• Be a member in good standing of the North Texas Region of USA Volleyball
• Be a leader in your club, both on and off the court
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 Scale (Unweighted Cumulative GPA)
• Be an active Player, junior aged Coach or junior aged Official
• Have high moral, ethical, and social standards
• Cannot be receiving a full athletic scholarship
  
  

 Documents to have ready when you apply:

• A copy of your most recent report card or grade summary (must show student name, school, cumulative unweighted GPA, and be a .pdf)
• Two personal recommendations with name, job title, e-mail, and telephone number (These references may be contacted to obtain additional information):

  • A community leader
  • A coach
  • An employer/supervisor
• Senior Picture

Not all applicants will receive funding.  This is an extremely competitive application process.  Applications that are incomplete, lacking documentation, or that do not follow directions will be disqualified.  Submission of an application does not guarantee funding will be awarded.
