Emporia State volleyball stuns No. 2 Nebraska-Kearney with home sweep

EMPORIA (KSNT)- Emporia State volleyball shocked the nation Friday night sweeping No. 2 Nebraska-Kearney 3-0 (25-22, 25-11, 25-18).
It was the Hornets first win over Nebraska-Kearney since 1998 and is the highest ranked win in school history.
Nyia Anderson had 12 kills along with 16 digs in the win, while Lavra Krizanic had 12 kills and 11 digs for the Hornets.
The Hornets are back in action Saturday at 7:00 p.m. to take on Fort Hays State.
