Provincial Facilities Development Fund

Access to facilities is one of the main factors influencing the growth and availability of volleyball across BC. Volleyball BC (VBC) is excited to introduce a new fund to encourage and support initiatives that increase the availability of facilities for volleyball in the province!

Launched at our AGM last month, the Provincial Facility Development Fund (PFDF) will support the long-term development, acquisition, or lease of facilities for volleyball programming in the province.   “One of the key priorities in our new Strategic Plan is ensuring that there is enough access to facilities to meet the demand for volleyball,” said Emma Gibbons, CEO of VBC. “We hope that by providing financial support, we can create new spaces for our sport that in turn will help expand opportunities to play.”

Funds are available for the support of indoor or outdoor volleyball facilities. They can be used facility enhancement, volleyball equipment, and/or any other purpose related to ensuring that volleyball can be played at the facility. For full details on eligibility and applications, visit our dedicated web page or email pfdf@volleyballbc.org
