60th Anniversary Logo Contest

 Volleyball BC 60th Anniversary Logo Design Contest

Volleyball BC is welcoming the public to design a new logo that will be used as part of the organization’s 60th Anniversary celebrations. The winning design will be used on printed materials, social media sites, clothing, promotional campaigns or anywhere else the organization sees fit.

 Entries must include the following:

 –        Use of VBC Brand Colours

–        Reference to 60th Anniversary, and/or incorporation of the number 60

–        Incorporation of volleyball motifs/elements/themes

–        Use of VBC “Ball” Logo element 

Example: 

Additionally, each entry must be original, not infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights of any other party, and must be suitable for publication (i.e. must not be obscene or indecent or contain content that is or could be considered inappropriate, unsuitable or offensive.)

Volleyball BC reserves the right to reject any entry deemed not to be in keeping with the rules of this Contest and any party found to have violated any rules will be required to relinquish any prize(s), even if they have already been awarded.

For consideration:

•       Contest entries are limited to 1 per person.
•       Acceptable files are high resolution JPG or PNG files. If you win, you will be required to provide the original design in a high-res format.
•       The design should be contained within a 12-inch by 15-inch area.
•       Your design can incorporate no more than 5 unique colors. Gradients and transparencies cannot be incorporated.

Designs will be judged based on the following criteria:

1. Concept/originality
2. Striking and memorable design
3. Incorporation of 60th anniversary considerations
4. Completeness of design and readiness for printing
5. Feasibility of reproduction
6. Adherence to design specifications and contest rules

Submission Agreement

By submitting your design, you agree to:

•       Abide by all contest rules, agreements, and guidelines.
•       Release the rights to your design to Volleyball BC for use for promotional items, including but not limited to: the Volleyball BC website, social media, and marketing materials.
•       Volleyball BC reserves the right to make adjustments to the winning design
