Owens volleyball earns No. 2 seed in NJCAA Division III national tournament

The Owens Community College women’s volleyball team qualified for the NJCAA Division III national tournament as an at-large selection, the NJCAA announced Tuesday. Owens, which made the field for the eighth straight season in which it has played, earned a No. 2 seed despite not being an automatic qualifier. The Express will play No. 15 Raritan Valley (New Jersey) in the opening round on Thursday, Nov. 9 at noon in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
