[Men's Volleyball] No. 2 BENU Opens 2023 With Victory Over No. 4 Vanguard

Benedictine Mesa opened its 2023 season on a good note.  The Redhawks were selected as the No. 2 team in the NAIA Men's Volleyball Coaches' Top 15 Preseason Poll, and then they started the match play with a solid 3-1 win over No. 4 Vanguard last Friday.  BENU, which evened its record with a four-set loss to the Lions on Saturday, had four players finish with double digit kills in the victory.  Landon Fuller, last year's unanimous Cal Pac Player of the Year, finished with 16 and Dapre Rogers, John Dawson, and Simon Joly each added 10, delivering primarily off assists handed out by Daxton Tolman, who had 43 in the match.
