[Volleyball] Leimbach Earns Weekly GPAC Award

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports have announced this week's volleyball players-of-the-week for contests played October 24-30, 2022. Hope Leimbach of Midland University was selected as the GPAC Setter of the Week. This is the fifth time she has collected the award this season.

Leimbach, a senior from Lincoln, Nebraska, averaged 12.33 assists per set this past week including 13 per set in the Warriors' sweep of No. 12 College of Saint Mary. In addition to her 74 set assists, she added 14 digs, three blocks, and three service aces as Midland picked up a pair of straight-set wins.

No. 4-ranked Midland will wrap up the regular season on Tuesday night with a match at No.5-ranked Concordia. The teams will serve it up at 7:30 p.m. in Seward at Friedrich Arena.
