[Volleyball] ERAU, PG Win Out, Set Up Early Showdown

Embry-Riddle and Park-Gilbert opened the California Pacific Conference campaign with three consecutive wins apiece, setting up an early showdown this coming Saturday when the Buccaneers visit the Eagles in Prescott, Ariz.  ERAU, which received votes in the latest NAIA Coaches' Top 25 poll, host another in-state rival, Benedictine-Mesa on Thursday while PG will host the Redhawks on Tuesday.  La Sierra also won out over the opening weekend, defeating Pacific Union and UC Merced.  Due to a positive COVID test, Simpson was unable to travel to Southern California for its conference openers last week against Providence Christian, Antelope Valley, and LSU.  The matches will be made up in October during the Red Hawks' bye week.
