Rushmoor Volleyball Tournament
The FVC Chairman has a great pleasure in announcing that the Club will organise the first-ever Rushmoor Volleyball Tournament.
FVC has organised tournamets in the past, around 15 years ago, and we would like to re-instate this great idea and make it even bigger and more long-term. Please see the details below.
Rushmoor Volleyball Tournament
Date: 21 -22 August 2021
Time: Registrations start at 9:00am, games from 10:00am
Venue: The Aldershot Traction Club, Weybourne Rd, Aldershot, GU11 3NE
Cost: £60 per team
Ladies, Men and Mixed Teams are all welcome to join. Max 8 players per team including subs.

6s Basic Info
- In Mix Teams min of 3 women need to be on court at any one time.
- All team names should be fun and in good taste.
- Match duration and formats will be confirmed on the day.
- Participants may not play for more than one team during the tournament.
- Teams should bring their own warm-up balls.
- Only outdoor balls will be used at games.
- All participants should respect the rules of the venue.
- Sanitising kits will be available on site.
- All COVID-19 safety measures will be introduced in line with the Government’s advice at the time of the event.
- Every team will be provided with a Participant’s Handbook and are bound by the safety rules detailed within.
- In the event of bad weather or COVID-related restrictions, the tournament may be cancelled and fees will be reimbursed. The fee is otherwise non-refundable (in the event of non-attendance etc.)
- Car Parking is available on site at no extra cost.
- Bringing own alcohol is not permitted, however, on-site bar will be open for the duration of the tournament (and into the evening).
- Hot food and snacks will also be available on site to purchase.
- Dogs are allowed but must be kept on leash and away from the playing area.
