A record-setting week earned Jill Kavalauskas NAIA National Women's Volleyball Attacker of the Week honors.

The junior from Chicago, Ill., had a huge week, helping the Bees to two wins in three matches. She averaged nearly 23 kills per match and posted a pair of double-doubles on the week.

Her most impressive performance came in the team's lone loss. Kavalauskas registered 31 kills, setting both a Governors State arena and opponent record. She had just five errors in 55 chances, giving her a .472 attack percentage. She was the first St. Ambrose women's player to record 30 kills in a match since the 2010 season.

The 5-10 outside hitter also collected 21 kills and 15 digs in a 3-1 win over Lincoln and 16 kills in a 3-1 win at Saint Xavier.

Kavalauskas totaled 68 kills and a mere 13 kills along with 32 digs over the seven-day period.

This marked the second straight week a Bee has earned national player of the week accolades. Nick Fox was named the NAIA Men's Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week a week ago.
