Erjane Magdato and Alexa Polidario proved to be an invincible duo as Abanse Negrense A crushed Sta Lucia A pair DM Demontano and Jackie Estoquia, 21-15, 21-17, to capture the title of the three-day event.

Already at match point, 20-16, Abanse Negrense A left the comeback door ajar for Sta Lucia A after a faulty reception by Polidario.

But Polidario quickly made up for her mistake by capping an enthralling rally with the title-clinching spike.

Meanwhile, Gelimae Villanueva and Jennifer Cosas of Abanse Negrense B nailed the bronze medal with a 21-13, 22-20 win over Bang Pineda and Jonah Sabete of Sta Lucia B.

On the cusp of forcing a deciding set, 20-19, Sta Lucia B crumbled as Abanse Negrense B tallied 3 straight points, with 2 coming from Cosas.
